Support Torsher

Torsher is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license and built by one developer. Donations are its only funding: there are no paid features, no ads and no telemetry.

What donations pay for

  • Development time: the server, the TV showcase, the control panel and this documentation.
  • Test hardware: TVs, an Android TV box and NAS models that Torsher has to work on before it claims support for them.
  • Infrastructure for the project itself: the domain and this site.

What donations don't buy

  • Features. Every feature is in the open-source release for everyone. Donors get nothing extra in the app.
  • Content. Torsher does not include, host or index any content, and donations have nothing to do with the sources you connect.
  • Priority support. Bug reports are handled the same way for everyone.

Other ways to help

  • Report bugs in GitHub Issues: what you did, what you expected, and the log from Logs in the panel.
  • Report a release title Torsher reads wrong: the title, and what season, episode, quality or voice-over it should have found.
  • Test on your hardware: a NAS, an older LG TV or an ARM board, and tell how it went.
  • Star the repository on GitHub and tell people who might like it.

Pull requests to the main repository are not accepted; issues and bug reports are welcome.
